Dye Projects
Our all-purpose fabric dye will renew or change the colour of washable fabrics: cotton, linen, silk, nylon, acetate, rayon, wool, spandex, viscose (and blends of polyester or acrylic). Tintex updates clothing, enhances home décor and creates one of a kind crafts.
Tintex is a hot water dye, (140°F water temperature is ideal). Ensure that fabric is clean and preferably wet before dyeing -- some dyeing techniques (like using a spray bottle, drizzling or stamping) can be done dry but, results may vary so test methods to get familiar with the process.
